Program List  LUMBERJACK DEMO

Description

About 40 years ago, Jack Riese began his chainsaw career by transforming telephone poles into totem poles. This unique form of art was inspired by his interest in Native American culture. His early work was done by hand; chiseling away piece by piece to obtain his sculpture. People loved his work, and soon by popular demand was doing competitions and programs.
Come see how Jack and his carving partner Pat Holbert, transform a tree stump, with the help of a chain saw, ladder, a concept, and imagination into a finished sculpture!
